J.D. Catron, 81, of Austin, Indiana passed away Monday, December 23, 2019 at University Of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky Born September 10, 1938 in Knott Co., KY, he was the son of the late Walter Catron and Lucinda (Madden) Catron. He married Lola (Coomer) Catron on September 6, 1960 , who survives. He was a retired employee of the old Amoco Seymour, Indiana J.D. enjoyed playing basketball in and around Austin, where ever he could find a game. Survivors include: Daughter: Pasha (Jim Bob) Amos, Crothersville, Indiana; Son: David (Margie) Catron, Austin, Indiana; Brother: James (Judy) Catron, Hindman, Kentucky; Sisters: Betty Cox, Amburgey, Kentucky; Hermia Carton, Amburgey, Kentucky; Grand Son: Tyler; Step Grand Son Joey. . He was preceded in death by Brothers: Willard and Clarence Catron and his sister Edwina Wheeler Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Friday, December 27, 2019 at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana with Donnie Richie officiating.
