Dora Baker, 88, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Hickory Creek @ Scottsburg in Scottsburg, Indiana Born May 4, 1932 in Breathitt Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Nathan Coomer and Rettie (Barrett) Coomer. She married Alex Baker, who passed away She was a self-employed Floral Designer and a member of the House of Prayer , Austin, Indiana. Survivors include: Daughter: Debbie (Bertrand) Weyerstrahs, Lexington, Indiana; Sons: Joe West, Scottsburg, Indiana; Greg (Kristie) Baker, Scottsburg, Indiana; Alex Baker, Jr. Seymour, Indiana. Brothers: Frank (Barb) Coomer, Austin, Indiana; Delmer (Velma) Coomer, Austin, Indiana; Sisters: Bertha (Leon) Campbell, Austin, Indiana; Sue Anthony, Austin, Indiana. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren. . She was preceded in death by her Husband Alex Baker, Sr :Son Ronnie West, Brothers: Fred, Willie,Charles, and Russell Coomer Sister: Delsie Disbro Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana with Rev. Billy Joe Deaton officiating. Visitation will be 10 am to 1 pm Saturday . Burial will be at New Providence Cemetery in Austin, Indiana. Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic and the Governor's executive order, face masks are required in the funeral home and we ask that social distancing is observed.
