Donald W. Taylor, 85, of Austin, Indiana passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 in Wedgewood Health Care Center Clarksville, IN Born November 25, 1936 in Crothersville, Indiana, he was the son of the late William "Bud" Taylor and Hazel (McCoskey) Taylor. He married Sally (Rake) Taylor on April 21, 2004 who survives. He was a lifetime member of the Austin Christian Church , Austin Lions Club, Indiana Dancers Association, Past President of the Kentuckiana Square Dance Association, Kentuckiana Federation of Square Dancing. Survivors include: Son: John Taylor of Gilbert, AZ; Stepson:Jude D. Rake of Libertyville, IL; Sister: Dixie (Norman) Souder of Salem, Indiana. He is also survived by 6 Step Grandchildren. . He was preceded in death by his First wife Norma, brother, Robert "Bob" Taylor and his wife Mary Lou Funeral Service: Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 2 PM at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana with Pastor Dave Huey officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 8 pm Friday and Noon to 2 pm Saturday at Buchanan Funeral Home. Burial will be at Scottsburg Cemetery Scottsburg, Indiana. The family request that mask be worn at the funeral home.
