Billy Noah Madden

Billy Noah Madden, 80, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at The Waters of Scottsburg. Born January 11, 1942 in Harlan County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Bruce and Clarinda (Dixon) Madden. Bill was pastor of Free Pentecostal Church of God in Austin where he had been the church Deacon Sunday School Superintendent for many years. He retired from the Golden Foundry in Columbus and was a past member of Jennings Township Fire Department. He was an avid tree trimmer and amateur CB operator which he talked to many people in the United States and Canada. Bill also loved to squirrel hunt and fish. Survivors include his children, Linda (Ron) Doerr of Scottsburg, Indiana, Billy (Tammy) Madden of Austin, Indiana, Gary (Bonita) Madden of Austin, Indiana, and his bonus mother, Sally Madden. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, Josh, Ashley, Erika, Jacob, Jessica, Marcus, and Bentley, 21 great grandchildren, Lucy, Travis, Thomas, Kaitlyn, Landon, Maeson, Jaxson, Macey, Hana, Bryson, Carson, Addison, Kennith, Bella, Avery, Victor, Zayne, Kabby, Odie, Kayelee, Summer,and 1 great great-grandchild, Melody He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal, grandson, Bruce, great-granddaughter Jayden, brothers, Junior, Harley, and Jeff Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Friday, January 14, 2022 at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana Visitation will be 10 am to 1 pm Friday at Buchanan Funeral Home .
